Does it need plates, screens or dies?
No. Varnish and foil are applied digitally from the file, so it replaces screen printing and embossing with no tooling.
What is raised varnish?
A UV varnish laid down with height on the label to add a tactile texture; it reaches the relief needed for braille.
Can it be built into a digital press?
Yes. Embellishment can be built into the press or run as a standalone unit.
