Frequently asked questions
What equipment do I need to produce RFID labels?
A converter that builds the inlay into the label, an encoder that writes and verifies the chip data, and the inlays. Printum supplies all three and the integration with your software.
What does an inlay converter do?
It takes dry or wet inlay (chip and antenna) and laminates, die-cuts and inspects it inside the finished label. The ADA A7000 Plus runs up to 60 m/min, two rows at a time.
Which frequencies are encoded?
UHF; the RF-300 encoder offers HF as an option.
Which industries use it?
Retail and fashion, pharma, food and beverage, and logistics: traceability, inventory control and anti-counterfeiting.
Do you integrate software, printers and readers?
Yes. We connect to your software or install a modular one, plus printers, readers, handhelds and antennas.
Every machine arrives installed, with your team trained.
We install, start up and train operators and maintenance staff. Then we stay with remote and on-site support, spare parts and consumables.
